CRAZY CUPS: THE EXHIBIT

Keeper of the Treasures by Mona Berning
Crazy quilters are celebrating that most feminine of garments, the bra, with a special exhibit of "Crazy Cups", bras which were crazy quilted and embellished for the Annual Crazy Quilt Retreat in Omaha, NE June, 2005.
Quilters around the world have submitted bras for the exhibit. Just like crazy quilting, there were almost no rules. Bras could be any size or shape. The embellishments can be as imaginative as the quilter and could be two-dimensional or 3-D.
The completed bras are exhibited on clear plastic bra forms usually used in retail stores to display bras for sale.
The exhibit is being prepared for traveling now and will start it three-year tour in October, 2005. If you are interested in sponsoring the exhibit at your quilt show, fund-raising event or other venue, please send an email to cqsociety@aol.com and we will send you information on the exhibit requirements and availability. The fee to rent the exhibit is $300 which covers shipping and insurance to your location and on to the next exhibit site.
