BOXERS AND BRIEFS: THE EXHIBIT

After the success of the Crazy Cups Exhibit last year, the Crazy Quilt Society is at it again with a new exhibit Boxers or Briefs, crazy quilted and embellished for the Annual Crazy Quilt Retreat in Omaha, NE June, 2007.

Undergarments -- male or female -- can be crazy quilted and/or embellished The embellishments can be as imaginative as the quilter and could be two-dimensional or 3-D. Because the exhibit is expected to tour to raise funds for the Colon Cancer Alliance and the Crazy Quilt Society Scholarship Fund, we ask that all entries be PG or G rated.

The completed boxers or briefs will be exhibited on commercial display forms usually used in retail stores to display such garments for sale. If possible, please use men's size medium or women's size small as foundations to best fit the display forms.

The exhibit will be prepared for traveling and will start its three-year tour in 2007. If you are interested in sponsoring the exhibit at your quilt show, fund-raising event or other venue, please send an email to cqsociety@aol.com and we will send you information on the exhibit requirements and availability. The fee to rent the exhibit is $300 which covers shipping and insurance to your location and on to the next exhibit site.

To enter the exhibit, please click here for a registration form. Send a copy of the form to us by mail or email by June 15 so we can have a display form ready for it. If you are attending the conference, you can bring your entry with you. If not, mail your entry via U.S. Mail, UPS or FedEx to the address on the entry form.
